Historic Hot Springs Arkansas is a well known vacation destination for the whole family and offers a wide variety of attractions.   Downtown Hot Springs Arkansas highlights Historic Bathhouse Row, a myriad of fine art galleries and antique stores, an assortment of family attractions, the natural "hot springs," a National Park and antique trolley's that will take you on a variety of tours of Hot Springs Arkansas.  Spa packages with Hot Springs’ only operating bathhouse, The Buckstaff, are available through Hot Springs Vacation Rentals.

Hot Springs Arkansas has an abundance and variety of lakes for fishing and water sports.  Lake Hamilton, Lake DeGray and Lake Catherine are south along Highway 7 and Lake Ouachita is north of Hot Springs Arkansas along Highway 270.  Lake Hamilton also offers water tours including a sightseeing or dinner cruise aboard the "Belle of Hot Springs."

Oaklawn Park celebrated its 103rd anniversary in 2007 and horse racing begins on the last weekend of January and extends through the Arkansas Derby on the second weekend in April. Oaklawn Park is about 16 miles from our vaction rentals office in Hot Springs Village Arkansas.

Magic Springs Amusement Park is open April to October and is the largest amusement and water park between Dallas and Memphis.  Take the plunge in the wave pool or try your courage on the new high impact roller coasters.  Magic Springs will be a day to remember for you and your family.  Magic Springs is about 15 miles from our vacation rentals office in Hot Springs Village Arkansas.

Lake Coronado

Outside the confines of Hot Springs Village Arkansas is a unique array of activities. North America's only active Crystal Mining is a few minutes away from the front gate. Dig to your heart's content and take home everything that you find - for friends and family.

Near the Main West Gate and the East Gate in Hot Springs Village Arkansas are several shopping areas with grocery and hardware stores, restaurants, pharmacy, antique shops, craft shops and medical facilities.

Hot Springs Village Arkansas is home to 6 recreational lakes ranging in size from 11 to 950 acres with a wide range of swimming, fishing, water sports and covered picnic areas.  Lake Cortez and Lake Balboa also have a sandy beach area for additional lake recreation.

DeSoto Pool Area

The DeSoto Games area at Hot Springs Village has a pool for everyone. There is an Olympic size pool for swimming, an 11-foot dive tank with two diving boards, and wading pool for the youngsters. Enjoy all of the action from the sun deck or pull up a lounge chair and table with an umbrella.

No games area would be complete without other recreation activities and DeSoto is no exception. Take in a game of basketball, enjoy miniature golf or play tennis. The DeSoto Games Area also has a new 3,000 square foot indoor games building that features ping pong, pool, air hockey, foosball, computer games, movies and board games.

Hot Springs Village is a scenic and picturesque setting of woods, lakes and mountains. This gives the 20 miles of trails a similar blend of settings that encompass the natural beauty of Hot Springs Village.
